Pin-oc-ch-io-ohh

I've got no strings
To hold me down
To make me fret, or make me frown
I had strings
But now I'm free
There are no strings on me
Hi-ho the me-ri-o
That's the only way to go
I want the world to know
Nothing ever worries me
Hi-ho the me-ri-o
I'm as happy as can be
I want the world to know
Nothing ever worries me
I've got no strings
So I have fun
I'm not tied up to anyone
They've got strings
But you can see
There are no strings on me

lyrics "I've got no strings" Pinocchio

If only we could all learn how to live,
becoming real, from a wooden puppeted toy.
And, then, learn not to take it all too far.

I've always thought that there is a lot to learn from children's stories.

I'm glad you got it. I have re-read things you wrote me in the past. I think you are splendid.

someone's in a good mood?
beansidhe: 08/09/2007 2:09 AM
Sure...good mood. More like the refusal to be controlled or manipulated. Some events in my life tangled me up in strings (and I let them) and now I am taking care of that.

moving is a pretty dramatic version of cutting the strings
where ya going?
